Velcro width: 2 cm
How to measure properly? (Method A or B)A: Measuring inside the frame?
➜ Add +4 cm width and +2 cm height (Velcro strips are 2 cm wide).
B: Measuring the final installation area (outside / inside)?
➜ No need to add anything, measure right down to the floor.
Worried it might be too long?
➜ You can fold the bottom slightly without affecting use.
Tip: Round your measurements up
➜ Better a little bigger than too small 😉
Installation video below:Carefully clean the frame of your door with a damp cloth, then let it dry for 1 minute.
Unroll the double-sided tape, measure it, then cut it into 3 pieces (2 equal heights and 1 width).
Remove the adhesive backing from each strip, then apply them around the edge of your frame (except at the bottom).
Press firmly on each Velcro strip to ensure maximum hold. If needed, add extra tape or small nails depending on your frame type.
Attach and align the magnetic fly screen, Velcro to Velcro. Check positioning and adjust if necessary. Enjoy your screen and a bug-free summer!
🔹 Note: The magnets are already integrated and discreetly hidden in the centre strip of the fly screen.
No worries. Select Custom Size, then enter your exact dimensions (e.g.: 86 × 155 cm, width × height).
24/48h (and up to 7 days maximum for custom-made sizes).

Fast order, dispatch and delivery: perfect 👍.
Excellent quality product that immediately impressed our friends, who also ordered one after seeing it. We’re very happy to have solved a problem, fewer bugs and more comfort. The only small drawback: we hadn’t considered the door frame design which made fitting a little trickier, but still works well. Highly recommend.
Great service from order to delivery. Premium quality product. Perfect custom cut.
Nothing more satisfying than watching mosquitoes and flies fail miserably trying to get through. Custom-made screens delivered quickly, great quality and easy to put up. Works brilliantly!

A magnetic fly screen door is a simple, smart and highly effective solution to keep your home free from flies, mozzies and other insects, while still enjoying a cool breeze flowing through your home. Thanks to its automatic magnetic closure, this magnetic flyscreen door provides continuous insect protection every time you walk through, with no effort required. Quick to install, easy to use and built to last, it's the go-to choice for Australian homes during the warmer months.
Choosing a magnetic fly screen door means choosing reliable, long-lasting insect protection that suits the Australian lifestyle. Unlike traditional screen doors, this magnetic door screen closes automatically behind you every single time - no more flies sneaking in while your hands are full of groceries or your kids are running in and out. It combines hands-free convenience, solid insect control and effortless DIY installation, making it one of the most popular fly screen solutions for front doors, back doors, sliding doors and patio doors across Australia.
The quality of the mesh makes all the difference in a magnetic flyscreen. This screen is made from a fine, reinforced polyester mesh that blocks out flies, mozzies, bugs and other insects while allowing fresh air and natural light to flow freely into your home. The mesh is tough enough to handle high-traffic use, resist tearing, and stand up to the demands of Australian summers - including homes with kids and pets coming in and out all day long.
The heavy-duty magnets built into the full length of the magnetic fly screen door ensure a fast, automatic and complete seal after every single pass-through. This powerful magnetic closure system means the flyscreen closes on its own - instantly and silently - keeping mozzies and flies out without you having to think about it. It's exactly this self-closing mechanism that makes the magnetic door screen so practical for busy Australian households.
This magnetic fly screen door is designed to fit a wide range of door types and opening configurations, including front doors, back doors, sliding doors, French doors, windows, patio doors and balcony doors. Flexible and fully adjustable, it suits most standard door frames found in Australian homes.
Fitted to your front or back door, the magnetic flyscreen lets you keep the door wide open to let the summer breeze in, without letting a single fly or mozzie through. It attaches quickly to your door frame with adhesive velcro strips, requires no drilling and no tools, making it a perfect DIY solution for both homeowners and renters.
The magnetic fly screen door is also perfectly suited to patio doors, sliding doors and balcony access points. It lets you enjoy your outdoor area freely, without the annoyance of flies and insects following you inside - whether you're entertaining, barbecuing, or just relaxing in the backyard.
Thanks to its flexible, adjustable design, the magnetic fly screen door can be easily trimmed to fit your specific door opening. Simply cut it to size with scissors - the mesh won't fray - for a neat, custom fit that delivers maximum insect protection no matter the size of your door or patio opening.
The door is where this matters most here, because in an Australian house it stands open from late afternoon until bed and that is when everything is flying. Which door you have decides what actually solves it.
Most Australian sliding doors were built with a screen panel running in an outer track. When people give up on it, the mesh is rarely the part that failed: it is almost always worn rollers, a bottom track packed with grit, or a panel that has been forced and no longer runs true. Rescreening a panel that will not slide fixes nothing. A panel fixed to the architrave covers the opening regardless of what the old track is doing, and it does not depend on the rollers at all.
French doors are the case people most often ask about, because the second leaf is usually bolted shut and only one side is walked through. A magnetic panel covers the whole opening including the leaf you never use, so the closed side stops being a gap you have to think about. The same applies to a single hinged back door, where the screen goes on the architrave and the door itself keeps swinging normally behind it.
If a security screen is fitted to that door, it works, and you actually use it, you already have your barrier on that opening and the effort belongs somewhere else, usually the bedroom windows. Nothing here is intended to replace a security door or to be fitted over one, and we would tell you the same thing on the phone.
A Queenslander or an older weatherboard house typically opens onto the verandah through wide timber doors that are original, out of square and not something to drill. Cut to the measured opening and fixed with adhesive, a panel handles both the geometry and the joinery. Take the width in three places and the height in three, and use the smallest of each.
Different words for the same thing, and you will hear all of them in Australia. What separates the products is not the name but whether the panel is rigid and fixed to the building, or fabric and removable.
In the southern states the difficult evenings run from December through January, so September and October are the sensible months to have it up. North of Brisbane the calendar matters less than the rain: numbers climb within a week or two of the first serious falls and stay up while the ground holds water. Fitting before the first rains is the northern equivalent, and it is a much shorter window.
