A fly screen designed for openings with several sides : hexagon (6 sides) but also 5, 7, 8 sides (and more), diamond, trapezium… Anything is possible on request. Fixing 100% hook-and-loop tape (suited to special shapes).

1. Hexagon… or any multi-sided shape

A hexagon usually has 6 sides, but we can make screens for shapes with 5, 7, 8 sides (or more), as well as other outlines: diamond, trapezium, etc.

2. Mostly windows, doors (possible)

In most cases this model is designed for a window (rare special shape). But if you have a multi-sided door , that is feasible too.

3. 100% hook-and-loop fixing

On special shapes, fitting is done with hook-and-loop tape only. It is the most reliable solution for following non-standard outlines.

Clean fitting, no drilling
Suitable for PVC / aluminium / wooden frames (depending on the surface)
Follows corners and multiple sides

4. Opening: on request (if needed)

On a hexagonal window there is usually no central separation. For certain uses (door, access, specific need), however, we can add: a magnetic central separation and/or zips positioned wherever you like.

5. Symmetrical or not

If your shape is symmetrical, we can work from the overall dimensions. If it is not symmetrical (different sides), more detail will be needed.

Measurements required for the hexagonal / multi-sided model

Hook-and-loop • Made to measure

The measurements needed to make your screen depend on your shape:

✅ Symmetrical shape (regular hexagon, symmetrical diamond, etc.)

Maximum width (W max) : from the widest point to the widest point
Maximum height (H max) : from the highest point to the lowest

From W max and H maxwe can work out the sides if the shape really is symmetrical.

✅ Non-symmetrical shape (different sides / different angles)

Each side : measure and note the length of each side (S1, S2, S3…)

If possible, also state the order of the sides (for example, starting at the top, clockwise).

To state in the comments (if relevant)

Type of opening : window (default) or door.

Exact shape : number of sides (5/6/7/8+), particularities, whether all sides are identical or not.
Any useful information : fitting constraints, obstacle, handle, etc.

How to Measure?

How to measure correctly? (Hexagonal / multi-sided model)

A: Measuring on the opening frame (inside)?
➜ Measure the maximum width and the maximum height of the opening (from one extreme point to the other).
➜ Then add +2 cm in width and +2 cm in height (hook-and-loop tape 2 cm all around).

B: Measuring on the final fitting frame (outside / inside)?
➜ Add nothing if you are already measuring the exact surface where the hook-and-loop tape will be stuck (the “final” frame).
➜ In that case, simply measure the max width + max height.

Specific to the hexagonal model: 2 measurements are enough

For the hexagonal / multi-sided, we only need:

Maximum width : from the leftmost point to the rightmost point.
Maximum height : from the lowest point to the highest point.

➜ Important: the hook-and-loop tape is 2 cm all around. If you measure the inside of the opening, make sure to add +2 cm in width and +2 cm in height to obtain the final size.

➜ The fly screen can be folded back slightly if needed, without affecting use.

Tip: always round up to the nearest centimetre

How to Install?

Installation in 5 steps

Carefully clean the frame hexagonal / multi-sided with a damp wipe, then leave to dry 1 minute.

Identify the number of sides of your opening (often 6, but it can vary). Prepare one strip of hook-and-loop tape per side.

Unroll the double-sided hook-and-loop tape then cut it side by side. Offer each segment up to the frame and adjust the length so that it lines up perfectly with each edge.

Peel off the backing and stick the segments on one by one around the frame (following each side). Press firmly along the whole length for optimal adhesion. If necessary, add more double-sided tape or use fixings suited to your type of surface.

Attach the fly screen velcro to velcro, line it up correctly, then adjust if needed. Enjoy a screen that fits your opening perfectly!

🔹 Note: By default, this model comes with full mesh with hook-and-loop fixing and without a magnetic central separation (hexagonal windows being rare). A magnetic central separation (centred or offset) or several separations can be added on request.
