How to measure correctly? (Arched model)

A: Measuring on the opening frame?
➜ Add +4 cm in width and +2 cm in height (the velcro strips are 2 cm wide on the sides and 4 cm on the height).

B: Measuring on the final mounting frame (outside / inside)?
➜ Add nothing, measure right down to the floor.

Specific to the arched model: 3 required dimensions

For the arched model we need:

Width : inner width of the opening, taken at the bottom of the frame.
Height H1 : total height up to the highest point of the arch.
Height H2 : straight height up to the start of the arch.

Worried it might be too long?
➜ You can slightly fold up the bottom of the fly screen without hindering use.

Tip: round your measurements up to the nearest centimetre
➜ Better a bit too big than too tight 😉

How do I measure my door / window / patio door?

Before you start, make sure to take accurate measurements. Two methods are available to select the correct size (your choice). Details are explained below for each model.

DOOR MODEL

Measure on the installation area Recommended

Measure directly the final surface where the fly screen will be installed (outer frame / installation area). You will obtain a Width × Height size ready to select.

Measure from the inner frame

Measure the inner door frame, then add:

+4 cm to the width (2 cm on each side)
+2 cm to the height

Example: 96 × 208 cm → final size: 100 × 210 cm

Size selection

If the result matches a standard size, select the corresponding model.
Otherwise, choose a Custom size category

Custom size category

Custom M: width ≤ 150 cm and/or height ≤ 230 cm
Custom L: width ≤ 200 cm and/or height ≤ 260 cm
Custom XL: width > 200 cm and/or height > 260 cm

Quelle moustiquaire pour une porte ou une fenêtre cintrée ?

Une moustiquaire découpée à la forme exacte de l'ouverture. Les modèles standards, vendus en rectangle, laissent un jour au sommet de l'arc par lequel les moustiques passent. Quelles formes d'ouvertures sont possibles ?

Plein cintre, arc surbaissé, anse de panier, demi-lune au-dessus d'une porte, hauteurs asymétriques : le modèle cintré couvre la grande majorité des ouvertures arrondies. Pour un œil-de-bœuf, une imposte séparée ou une forme vraiment atypique, écrivez-nous avec une photo, l'atelier confirme la faisabilité avant toute commande.

Comment mesurer une ouverture en arc de cercle ?

Trois dimensions suffisent : la largeur, la hauteur au point le plus haut de l'arc et la hauteur sur le côté. L'atelier reconstitue la courbe à partir de ces mesures. Le détail pas à pas, avec schémas, se trouve dans notre guide de prise de mesures.

Peut-on la poser sans percer, même sur un cadre arrondi ?

Oui. La fixation se fait par bande auto-agrippante adhésive qui suit la courbe du cadre, sur PVC, aluminium ou bois. Aucun trou, aucune vis : la moustiquaire se retire en fin de saison et se repose au printemps, ce qui convient aussi en location.

La fermeture aimantée fonctionne-t-elle sur une forme courbe ?

Oui, c'est justement l'intérêt du système : les aimants sont répartis tous les 15 cm sur toute la hauteur, ils suivent la courbe et referment la toile automatiquement après chaque passage, y compris sur la partie cintrée.

Quelle différence avec la moustiquaire grande ouverture classique ?

La base est la même : toile fibre de verre renforcée, aimants longs, pose sans perçage. La version cintrée ajoute la découpe à la forme. Si votre ouverture est rectangulaire, même très large, la moustiquaire pour baie vitrée et grande ouverture est le bon choix ; pour toute dimension particulière, passez par la moustiquaire sur mesure.
